The Falcon Inn

St Mawgan

Serving up an award-winning menu, the Falcon Inn is popular with visitors and locals for its well-kept gardens and satisfying menu. Sutuated in the heart of St Mawgan, in the Vale of Lanherne, The Falcon dates back to the 1500s and offers the perfect setting for a lunch or dinner either in the comfy pet-friendly bar, or bright restaurant area.

 

The Merrymoor Inn

The relaxed atmosphere and friendly service make the Merrymoor a must whilst visiting Mawgan Porth Beach. Refurbished for 2014, enjoy a brew on the newly extended coffee bar, or relax outside on the large verandah with childrens play area.

The Riviera Café

Mawgan Porth

Open all day during the main season, for breakfast lunch and afternoon tea, the Riviera shares the promenade with Coasta Coffee and The Blue Fish Bar Take Away, helping to cater for all tastes throughout the day.

Off the Beach

Mawgan Porth

Formerly The Fire Bistro, Off the Beach changed hands late in 2013 and rebranded as a relaxed and casual establishment, specialising in fish and tapas, but also serving a BBQ - weather permitting. Off the Beach is open from 10am til late everyday, for breakfast lunch and dinner, and all manner of treats in between.

 

Traveller Rest

Mawgan Porth

A traditional 17th Century Tavern, serving home made food and real ales to visitiors and locals alike. Customers enjoy a regular carvery - available daily in the main season - and live music to accompany the warm interior of this family friendly pub. The Travellers, The Falcon and the Merrymoor are all linked via the popular Three Pubs Walk, a pleasant and easy countryside ramble, offering spectacular views along the way with a well-earnt pint at each stop.

The Phoenix is a bar and restaurant offering a variety of culinary delights, ranging from steak to their well-loved pizzas. Most popular for their specatular view of the bay at only 100 yards from Watergate Bay beachfront.

The Beach Hut

An up-and-coming restaurant/café serving a selection of hot drinks and snack foods to beachcombers and sunbathers. The Beach Hut hosts a series of events, including coffee mornings, chef displays and extreme sporting events in assocation with the Xtreme Academy operating on Watergate Beachfront.

 

Cornish Arms

St Merryn

One of Rick Stein's many establishments in the Padstow area, the Cornish Arms offers a relaxed dining experience in a pet friendly environment. A traditional pub setting serving simple pub food, including beer battered fish and chips, made from locally sourced produce, using recipes created by Stein and head chef, Alex Clark. The Cornish Arms also hosts a series of annual events, including the Beer and Mussel Festival in March, and a number of live music shows.

Mermaid Inn

Porth

Situated on the beach front in Porth, the Mermaid is popular with families visiting the local area. The pub is known for it's reasonable prices and large Sports Screen, as well as serving a large selection of local ales and ciders in a relaxed and traditional venue, with a gorgeous sandy beach literally on the doorstep.


Farmers Arms

St Merryn

For a pub with a lively atmosphere, look no further than the Farmers Arms - it has regular entertainment to accompany a selection of locally brewed ales and ciders. A large decking area offers the ideal sun spot on a warm summers eve - perfect for a spot of al fresco dining.

Jamie Oliver's most famous, and fairly so, establishment. Situated underneath the carpark at Watergate overlooking the bay, Fifteen serves up culinary delights, made using the finest local produce and the most talented young chefs in the country.

Seven Bays Bistro,

St Marryn

This bistro combines the best of what is Cornish with Mediterranean to make a truly delicious menu. Setting in the delightful village of St Marryn and boast to an inspired wine list this gives the Seven Bays a finishing touch. As well as evening dishes there are light lunches and take away pizza provided.

The modern British Style is in keeping with the beautiful village and only seating a cosy 24 you know that food and service will be good. When your eating in the Informal “neighbourhood-style” environment you can bask in the knowledge that all the food is made in house and you will eat on hand made wooden tables with floors to match.

This is a Michelin award winning restaurant and you can see why. The Head chief Ben Tunnicliffe has created a sophisticated menu of robust food from Cornwall, with the menu changing daily it keeps to the seasons best but with in a reasonable price. This is a fantastic view over the Atlantic that is enhanced when you have a look from the terrace. This is an adults retreat so 18+ please.
